Job Summary

ACI Mechanical is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to lead, train, and guide our sheet metal crew in the field. This individual is expected to oversee operations and ensure the crew is prepared and provided with the resources to succeed.

Duties

• Display knowledge of commercial duct systems and processes.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and ensure compliance of duct work with contract documents.
• Layout and coordinate sheet metal duct work and associated air-side systems.
• Complete measurements in the field for duct creation and installation.
• Schedule and organize materials needed in the field in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years managerial experience in the sheet metal field.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 not required upon application but required after hire.
• Driving record meets company requirements.
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, loud noises, and more within OSHA standards when visiting the jobsite. Employees may be exposed to outdoor conditions that include inclement weather such as heat, humidity, cold, wind, and dust. May be expected to carry up to 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods, walk moderate-to-long distances on varying surfaces, climb, crawl, crouch, reach, grip, push, and pull without issue.
