Job Summary

ACI Mechanical is seeking a driven individual looking to further their career in the construction industry, specifically in plumbing and mechanical systems. This is an entry-level position offering hands-on experience and opportunities to learn and grow within the trade.

Duties

• Transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Clean and organize work areas to maintain safety and efficiency
• Assist trade technicians with daily tasks and jobsite activities
• Follow and adhere to all jobsite safety protocols and company policies
• Report to work on time and maintain reliable attendance
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new skills related to the trade
• Utilize basic construction tools and equipment safely and properly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Construction background preferred, but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Driving record meets company requirements
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening required

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and loud noises within OSHA standards when visiting jobsites. Outdoor exposure may include inclement weather such as heat, humidity, cold, wind, and dust. Employees may be expected to carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long periods of time, walk moderate-to-long distances on varying surface conditions, climb, crawl, crouch, reach, grip, push, and pull without issue.
