Job Summary
Seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team at ACI Mechanical. This position includes, but is not limited to,
all preconstruction aspects of project management and coordination of job activities and all additional duties as requested
by the job supervisor. Gain the knowledge and competence to move into a Junior Project Manager position within five (5)
years of the start date.
Duties
- Complete job opening paperwork.
- Set up and maintain the project book, post addendums, bid/spec changes, and drawing updates, and submit reviews.
- Acquire quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Copy and file construction documents.
- Track material deliveries, price and input change requests, perform quantity takeoffs of materials, checklist material orders, prepare and process O&M manuals.
- Communicate with staff, customers, vendors, architects, and engineers.
- Attend job-related meetings.
- Monitor job progress, pick up or deliver information, and maintain drawings.
- Assist with estimating and purchasing on a per-job basis.
- Out-of-town and overnight travel may be expected.
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications
- Degree in project management, construction, or other related fields, or 4 years of experience in construction or related fields.
- Ability to read, write, hear, and communicate with customers, vendors, employees, and others in English.
- Driving record meets company requirements.
- Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Primarily works in the office with potential for travel. May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts,
vibrations, loud noises, and more within OSHA standards when visiting jobsites. Employees may be exposed to outdoor conditions
that include inclement weather such as heat, humidity, cold, wind, and dust. May be expected to carry up to 30 lbs regularly
and 50 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods, walk moderate-to-long distances on varying surfaces, climb, crawl, crouch,
reach, grip, push, and pull without issue.
